a peachy, pinky, purple kind of day
I came across this lovely photo while perusing Kelly Wearstler's site and this got me thinking how much I really love this color combination and that I truly am a lover of mixing patterns. That pink and purple headboard is to die for! I love it up against the cool patterned wallpaper that looks like ice cream colored mountains. With that ikat pillow added in it's just perfection!
...then after seeing the above photo I decided that this 1930's lady's chair was just amazing and someone has to have it. It's available for purchase here.
This baby girl's nursery has the same peach, pink and purple color pallet that I just adore and again I love the mix of patterns in this room with the drapes and bedding.
Doing pink and pink and purple with these hues is definitely the way to go. Even though you have some hot pinks and darker purples in there it is still a soothing look overall.

MY HERO!
OK it's official i have found my absolute #1 decorating idol: John Loecke!! How did I not know about him before today? I mean hello- I think we share a brain, because he literally has designed rooms exactly as I would! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Which photo is your favorite? I vote for all of them!
